The 5″ x 8″ DD Vortex Ripper submersible searchcoil has a compact size that is ideal for searching in tight spaces, working through rocks, and in trashy areas. This highly sensitive coil is durably constructed in a completely waterproof housing and comes with a full 3-year warranty from Garrett. This searchcoil is specifically engineered to perform with the MD-MF technology used by the Garrett Vortex metal detector.

 

Features

Enhanced Detection: The concentrated detection energy in a 5″ x 8″ Vortex Ripper searchcoil makes it great for detecting fine jewelry, small coils, and even gold nuggets.

Condensed Detection Area: The Vortex Ripper coil is ideal for detecting in stubble fields and other tight areas, such as among roots, rocks, or heavily iron-infested areas. It is easy to maneuver and, because of its tight detection field, can be maneuvered closer to larger metallic objects like iron poles.

Fully Waterproof: The entire searchcoil can be submerged while searching for lost treasure in lakes, streams, and oceans.

Protective Cover: Each searchcoil is shipped with a searchcoil cover to prevent the coil from being scratched or damaged when swept over rocks, gravel, and other rough soils.
